Cub Scout Pack 229
"Birthday Bags" Project 2018
Announcing that Cub Scout Pack 229 Tafton will be attending the festival
represented by Brian Carastro, Samantha Carastro and Erica Carastro.
Cub Scout Pack 229 will be collecting item donations for their Messenger of Peace “Birthday Bag” Project as well as selling
chocolate bars to help support their Pack to be able to continue their many activities within the community.
Every few years Pack 229 tries to put together a Messenger of Peace project. This year Pack 229 will be putting together
“Birthday Bags” for fostered children and children in need in the community.
Pack 229 will be distributing collection boxes throughout the community to ask for the communities help in
helping the scouts reach their goal.
When collections are finalized, scouts will then help with sorting and packing the Birthday Bags.
Birthday Bags will then be distributed to 501c’s within the community.
